Hi I am Tony Andersen, owner and Director of Trendsetter Homes, and I have been involved in Christchurch home building for over 25 years.

Five years in the engineering industry taught me about the strength of materials, the value of organisation and pre-planning plus the need for good design.

In 1989 an associate and I joined forces to start a building company based in Sockburn, Christchurch. We pioneered selling standard house plans with optional extras, including floor and window coverings and dishwashers. Simply put we listened to our clients needs and redesigned our products in order to exceed their expectations. From these small beginnings we became Christchurch’s biggest and most favoured building company.

I pride myself in the ability to adapt and innovate which led me to the vision of Trendsetter Homes – a company dedicated to finding better ways to provide comprehensive housing solutions for Canterbury. We are proud to be a locally owned and operated family business active in the Canterbury community.
